We are looking for a friendly professional teacher to work in our Christian preschool ! We all care about young children and each other. We all work together to have a very successful team.
You will need a minimum of 12 Early childhood Education units and 6 months teaching experience. You must pass criminal background and meet all the necessary Immunization requirements issued by the State of California. The Church of the Transfiguration also requires some on the job training. Pay rate starts at $17.00 to $18.50 and hour based on education and experience. The hours are 12:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. This position is working with the two year old class. The preschool offers paid vacation and sick time, 13 paid legal holidays per year, Dental/vision and health insurance options, and a retirement plan.
Responsibilities:
– Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool students
– Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
– Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in young learners
– Use effective classroom management techniques to promote positive behavior
– Collaborate with parents and guardians to support each child’s individual needs
– Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and guidance as needed
– Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
